 Overview
Jacob Lake is more of an "area" than a place. The heart of the area is the junction of US Highway 89A and Arizona State Highway 67. Mainly it is the entrance to the North Rim of the Grand Canyon. The area sits high in the pine forests of the Kaibab National Forest atop the Kaibab Plateau. Look for wildlife, including mule deer and the rare Kaibab Squirrel. And don't expect to see a lake here.
