Those traveling across the country on Highway 89A between Bitter Springs and Jacob Lake Arizona arrive at two bridges similar in appearance spanning the Colorado River at Marble Canyon. These two Navajo Bridges, one historic and one new, represent one of only seven land crossings of the Colorado River for 750 miles.

Hours: Open daily from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Mountain Standard Time, April through October.
Visitor Center: Navajo Bridge Interpretive Center

  • From Page, go south on Highway 89 about 25 miles, then turn north on Alternate 89 for about 15 miles to Navajo Bridge.

There is camping at nearby Lee's Ferry.

There are no hiking trails at Navajo Bridge, but you can walk across the historic old bridge and look down into Marble Canyon and see the Colorado River over 400 feet below.
