This page contains personal notes on our visits to the Pima Air and Space Museum in Tucson, Arizona.

 Personal Notes

Over the years that we lived in Tucson, Arizona we had several opportunities to visit the Pima Air and Space Museum. It has quite an array of military aircraft on display, both inside the hangars and outside. It is well worth a half-day visit to wander around and wonder at how these huge metal objects stay airborne.

Because this site is located in the heart of the Sonoran Desert it is best to visit in the spring, autumn, or winter (which is the best). Wear good, comfortable walking shoes, and bring a camera to take lots of photos. This location makes a nice side trip from the many more natural and historic sites in the Tucson area.
