This site is the remnant of a Sinagua village built between 1125 and 1400 A.D. It sits atop the summit of a long ridge that rises 120 feet above the Verde Valley. the village was inhabited by about 50 persons for about one hundred years.

There are no hiking trails within the Monument. There is a short paved loop that passes around the ruins and an easy .5 mile one way nature trail to an overlook above Tavasci Marsh.
