 Eureka Mine and Aguereberry Camp

The Eureka Mine and Aguereberry Camp are located off of the Emigrant Canyon Road in Death Valley National Park, near the sites of the ghost towns of Harrisburg and Skidoo. These facilities were used for over 40 years, up until the late 1940s. Many structures still remain at the mining operations, and three dwellings at the camp show how the miners lived in the middle of the Twentieth Century.

Directions:

Take the paved Emigrant Canyon Road to a sign indicating Aguereberry Point. Take the graced (rough) gravel road to the site. the buildings and structures will be along a low ridge on the right side of the road, as you approach.
