Tahoe Rim Trail
Distance: 165 miles one way Rating: Generally Moderate (10% average)
Elevation: Elevations range from 6,300 feet up to 10,338 feet Total Ascent:  
Trailhead: The trail is divided into eight segments anchored by easily accessible trailheads.
Description: The Tahoe Rim Trail journeys along the ridge tops of scenic Lake Tahoe. Winding through state park lands, national forests, and wilderness areas. The trail crosses thick conifer forests and wildflower-filled meadows, meanders alongside aspen-bordered creeks, and skirts the shores of crystalline lakes.
