Buffalo Bill's grave is an interesting side trip if you are in the area and have a few minutes. The views from the deck near the museum are very nice. But, the grave itself seems to be a gimmick to lour tourists into the museum and gift shop.

Elevation: 7,326 feet.
Fees: $3.00 for adults; $2.00 for seniors over 65; $1.00 for children from 6 to 15; and, children under 6 years are free.
Hours: The Park and museum are open seven days per week. The museum hours, from (May 1 through October 31, are 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. From November 1 through April 30 the hours are from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. (during which time they are closed on Mondays and December 25th).
Visitor Center: No
Facilities: Museum, gift shop, cafe, restrooms.
Directions:

Take I-70 west to exit 256 (marked Buffalo Bill Grave), then follow the signs. Or take 6th Avenue West to Golden and turn left onto the Lariat Trail (19th Street).  Follow the scenic winding road to the top of the mountain.
