Camping is permitted only in designated campgrounds. There is no backcountry hiking or camping within the park. Gasoline is available only at the Morefield service station located near the Morefield Campground, and is open the same dates as the campground.

Location: Four miles from the Park entrance. In a high grassy area amid oaks and native flowers, popular with deer and wild turkeys.
