The west is blessed with many wild and powerful rivers, many of which have been "tamed" by the Corps of Engineers and the Bureau of Reclamation. Some of these dams are engineering marvels, while others are less spectacular but just as interesting. Over the years we have had the opportunity to visit several of these sites.
