Tioga Pass entrance to Yosemite National Park.National Parks and Monuments

This page lists the national parks, monuments, recreation areas, refuges, and wilderness areas that we've visited within canyon country. More will be added as we continue our adventures.

There are National Parks, Monuments, and Historical Sites throughout the United States. This site focuses on those in the west, in canyon country, where some of our most spectacular parks preserve as much as they can of what Nature provides for us. There are campgrounds, maintained trails, and often, untouched wilderness. These locations are listed by state.
