The world-famous Balanced Rock is mushroom-shaped, with the base measuring 3 feet 17 inches and the top 48 feet in diameter. This phenomenon of nature stands 200 feet tall (and the base has been reinforced with concrete).

This park runs one-half mile along the edge of Salmon Falls Creek. There are picnic tables, fire pits, and some overnight camping available.

In Buhl, drive south through town until you reach Castleford, then follow the paved road and signs for Balanced Rock.
