Centennial Waterfront Park

After our walk across the bridge, we drove down into the gorge to the Centennial Waterfront Park, on the south bank of the river. Along the asphalt road down into the gorge we caught a series of dripping springs with the setting sun behind them. There was no place to stop for a photo, but it could have been spectacular.

This is an area where folks into water sports can put in their boats and other water craft. There are picnic tables and covered areas. There are also some interesting waterfalls and cascades and springs all along this area. I suspect that the public golf course is one of the major draws in this area as well.
