 Personal Notes

We visited Carlsbad Caverns National Park just once. It's a spectacular cave, with self-guiding underground trails. It was easy to spend an entire day exploring around the various rooms. The temperatures were a bit cool, and the air was damp, but other than that we had a great time. We went at the wrong time of the year to see the bats, but apparently in the summer months the bats leaving the cave in the evening is a spectacular sight. We went in the walk-in entrance and came out via the elevator. We'd love to go back again.

Check back for a more detailed description of our visit. If you need specific information right now, send us an e-mail and we'll get back with you.
