We visited Jemez State Monument one time, for just a few minutes, back in the late 1980 or early 1990s. We explored the mission ruins and were impressed by the immense stone work and effort it must have taken to construct such a large edifice.

It's our intention to visit the site again when we get back to New Mexico.
