 Personal Notes

We visited White Sands National Monument just once, on our return trip from Carlsbad Caverns National Park. We were only in the Monument a short time, just enough to drive through on the main road (which was graded sand) and to enjoy a brief climb up one of the sand mountains. It is an interesting, strange area that is probably best visited during the cooler months. With no vegetation and all of that white sand I'm sure it is quite hot in the Summer months.

We will add more information and detailed notes as time allows. If you need some information right now, send us an e-mail and we'll get to you what we can.
