| Built in 1909, the Bonneville Fish Hatchery was first named "Central Hatchery." It is operated by the Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife. The Bonneville Fish Hatchery rears coho and chinook salmon, as well as steelhead. Display ponds offer a relaxing place to feed large rainbow trout. There is also an excellent white sturgeon display center with underwater viewing of fish measuring more than six feet in length. |
