Columbia River Gorge between Oregon and Washington.

The Columbia River Gorge National Scenic Area is a breathtaking river canyon and the only sea-level route through the Cascades. Marking the border between Washington and Oregon, the Gorge is 80 miles long with canyon walls rising 4,000 feet above the river.

Activities include hiking, mountain biking, windsurfing, camping, fishing, boating, wildlife watching, birding, photography, picnicking, and rock climbing.
