South Dakota: State Park Reservations
This page contains information on reservations in the state parks and recreation areas in South Dakota.
By dialing 1-800-710-2267, or accessing the online reservations site, campers can reserve campsites at many public campgrounds within the State of South Dakota. Reservations are accepted for the entire camping season beginning in January, or as few as two days before you arrive.
There is no reservation fee for South Dakota residents, but all nonresidents are required to pay a non refundable $5.00 processing fee.
The reservation center is open from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. daily between Memorial Day and Labor Day. From January to May 28 and September 3 to October 1, the reservation center is open 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Camping fees for the entire stay must be paid when the reservation is made. Campers may pay by credit card, money order, gift certificate, or personal check. All checks must be received within five days of making a reservation.

A $10.00 cancellation fee will be charged if you cancel any part of your reservation. All other camping fees will be refunded.
