Alta Recreation Area
Camping
This page contains information on camping within the Alta Recreation Area in Utah.
Camping is permitted in developed campsites only. If you intend to camp in the backcountry, Forest Service regulations prohibit camping within half a mile of any road. Your camp must be at least 200 feet from water.
We know of only one public campground within the Alta Recreation Area:
- Albion Basin Campground
