Grafton, Utah was established in 1859 as an agricultural community and finally became a ghost town, for the second time, in 1945. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, Grafton's buildings recall a forgotten lifestyle. Several Hollywood movies have been filmed at this location.

| Directions: |
- The shortest route to Grafton is through Rockville, Utah, along Utah Highway 9. Turn south on Bridge Lane, which crosses the Virgin River on a historic, single-track iron bridge. From there the road turns due west and once it becomes unpaved just follow the road through the signed gates to the ghost town.
- Or, come in from the south along the Smithsonian Butte Back Country Byway.
