Junction of US 89 to the Junction of Highway 24
Highway 12 is one of the most scenic highways in North America. Running about 120 miles from its junction with US 89 near Panguitch to its junction with State Highway 24 near Torrey, the paved route passes through some of the most spectacular red rock country in Utah, and provides access to several national parks and monuments, as well as several State parks and Forest Service areas. The Highway 12 Scenic Byway has been named Utah's first All-American Road.

| Directions: | From the west, the Highway 12 Scenic Byway begins at the junction of US Highway 89, and heads east. From the Northeast, the Scenic Byway begins near the town of Torrey, at the junction with State Highway 24, and heads south.
