Parowan Gap
Parowan Gap
West of Parowan, Utah
Several centuries ago Native Americans traveling through what is now known as The Narrows of Parowan Gap stopped and pecked designs onto the surfaces of large boulders and outcrops along the west side of the Gap. The petroglyphs in The Narrows are thought to be the work of several cultural groups and represent a long period of use by native cultures. The petroglyphs are listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
