Forty-five Degree Rock
This page contains a discussion of the rock art found on the Forty-five Degree Rock Panel within the San Rafael Swell in Utah. All photographs are from our our personal collection. This site gained its name because it is on a cluster of rocks tipped up at a 45 degree angle toward the east. It is a nice panel of many small petroglyphs of anthropomorphs and zoomorphs. At the top center there is a Kokopelli-like figure that may have a flute and is carrying a burden basket on its back.
