Named for the Gooseberry Creek south of the site, the Gooseberry Badlands Scenic Overlook provides panoramic views of colorful desert landscapes and endless blue sky. The colors of the soil mysteriously change with the seasons, accentuating the intricately carved rock formations of the Tatman and Willwood Formations.

Directions: The Gooseberry Badlands Scenic Overlook is 25 miles west of Worland, at a turnoff on Wyoming State Highway 431. From Worland, drive seven miles south on U.S. Highway 20/26 and turn west on Wyoming Highway 431. The Overlook is on the north side of the road.
