Birds: Eagles
The Bald and Golden Eagle can be seen at various places around canyon country, with the Golden Eagle more prominent. However, both species are rare enough that it is exciting when they are spotted.

Notes
- We have spotted bald eagles in the Tetons, along the Madison River in Yellowstone, and at a few locations in Utah. We have seen golden eagles throughout the Intermountain West. Once you have heard the wild cry of an eagle it is unmistakable and unforgettable.
- The photos presented here were taken by Dan and Sue Newberry in Dodge Park along the Missouri River in Omaha, Nebraska.
