Canyon Country Animals
Birds: Herons and Egrets
There is a variety of herons and egrets that populate the wetlands and waterways of canyon country. They are distinctive and are often just seen as a silhouette against a sparkle of water. They are good sized birds and generally have long necks and legs, with distinctive beaks.
