 Hummingbird
A hummingbird near a feeder in Ramsey Canyon Nature Preserve in Arizona.

There are so many different kinds of hummingbirds that it would be hard to describe them all here. However, in canyon country, we usually see the Rufous Hummingbird, Broad-tailed Hummingbird, Callipe Hummingbird, and the Black-chinned Hummingbird. Often we can hear them whistling around in the tall pines, but usually (other than in our yard) we only see a blur as they zip by on their busy way to somewhere.
