 Notes

The main image on this page was taken in the Visitor Center of Flaming Gorge National Monument.

We have only seen beaver on a couple of occasions, in Grand Teton National Park, and in a pond near Bryce Canyon National Park. However, we have seen the results of their work in many more locations, where they have chewed into trees and where they have built dams and their homes.
